Bath, New Hampshire artist, Craig Pursley has won national and international awards for his portraits, and has paintings in the Baseball Hall of Fame, The Reagan Presidential Library and the New Hampshire State House as well as private collections from coast to coast. Since moving to NH, he has painted nearly 300 works of local people, nearly all for the sheer joy of doing them. And every two years the newest and best are shown publicly. This June you can see those paintings and hear about them on opening night as Craig describes the inspiration, techniques and stories that go with them. Also on hand for the opening will be many of the subjects in those paintings, which is always fun to see.
