Panther Vale Studium Generale

March 23 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

- $30

Shake off the shackles of winter and prepare for the event season ahead as the Shire of Panther Vale invites one and all to a day of practical crafting. The Studium Generale is an Arts and Sciences event catering to the examination and hands-on learning of some the many crafts practiced in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Our instructors look forward to sharing their passion and skill for the arts whether you are exploring an art form for the first time or simply eager to expand your artistic horizons.

The class is now available and can be viewed at:
https://panthervale.eastkingdom.org/what-we-do/studium-generale/class-list/

This event space consists of two stories connected by stairs. There is no elevator or lift connecting the two floors. The main street level story is fully accessible. If you require an accommodation, please contact the event steward.

Studium Generale Volunteers Needed!

We have our event space, our cooks and our instructors lined up but we could still use a helping hand. We don’t expect anyone to work all day since there may be classes you’d like to join in but if service is your thing, let’s make that thing happen!

Areas we need covered are:
Gate: 2 hour shifts beginning at 8:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm. Ideally working in pairs until 12:30 pm. (8 volunteers total)

Art Thugs: Your role is to assist instructors set up or tear down before and after class. As we have a full schedule utilizing all four classrooms, you will also be used to provide instructors with a time check. As we have a few classes that will be making use of the Space on Main’s technological wonders, folks familiar with white boards encouraged to apply. Please be willing to volunteer in one hour increments.

Sign up to volunteer here:
